McTimoney for Dogs

All dogs can benefit from McTimoney treatment. Whether your four-legged friend is simply a pet or they take part in showing, agility, trials, racing or flyball. Regular McTimoney chiropractic treatments are one of the best ways to keep your canine happy, healthy and working at their best.

When should you consider McTimoney chiropractic treatment for your dog?

All dogs, regardless of their level of activity, can injure themselves, causing soft tissue damage, muscle tension or misalignment of joints. McTimoney chiropractic can be used as a one-off therapy to resolve a specific issue or a regular treatment to help prevent injury and maintain performance levels. Certain breeds and those engaged in regular sports activity are prone to issues. Racing dogs are at risk can suffer injury caused by running in one direction and tight cornering. Agility/flyball dogs which make quick turns and do lots of jumping can suffer misalignments from losing their footing, stumbles or simply always turning the same way. Breeds with long backs and short legs commonly suffer misalignments due to their conformation. Post birthing check-up’s for those animals which have recently given birth can help to ensure there are no ongoing problems.
